Considering Chaptered Vine Studio?

I mainly edit fiction books in a wide range of genres, including but not limited to:

Young Adult
Sci-Fi/Fantasy
Romance
Mystery/Thriller
Literary Fiction
Historical Fiction

For those who aren't writing novels, I also offer my editing services for creative articles and websites.

If you're unsure if your project falls within these categories, feel free to contact me for clarification.

Much like the time it tasks for each tree to shed its leaves, the time it takes to edit a manuscript varies. It depends on your manuscript's length and specific needs. With a sample in hand, I'll be able to provide an estimated timeframe, and together, we can agree on a return date that suits the rhythm of your story and publication goals.

One full round of editing is provided within each service. After the edits are implemented by you, I also provide one complimentary, condensed round of editing to ensure that your story is polished to perfection.

While it's important for writers to self-edit before sending their work to an editor, having a fresh set of eyes and professional expertise can make a world of difference. As the saying goes, you can't see the forest for the trees.

An editor can catch mistakes and offer suggestions that may have been overlooked during self-editing. It's always beneficial to have someone else look at your work before publishing or submitting it.

Once you've contacted me about my editing services, I will ask for your manuscript to be sent via email. Prices are contingent upon your sample edit.

To receive the most accurate estimation, please submit a 1000-word sample in the middle of your script. This allows me to gauge the level of editing needed and can provide a more precise quote.

I prefer working with Microsoft Word's "Track Changes" feature and comments for edits and suggestions. However, if you have a different preference, we can discuss alternative options.

Yes, I provide a contract before beginning any editing work. It's standard practice and helps protect both parties. A non-refundable deposit is also required before we begin working together.

I understand that sometimes income can be tight and you may need longer to pay invoices. In these cases, I do offer multiple payment plan options for just this reason. Please contact me to discuss this option further.

As much as I wish I could guarantee perfection, it's simply not possible.

Mistakes can slip through the cracks even with multiple rounds of editing. On average, professional editors catch around 80-95% of errors with one pass-through.

Simply head over to the Contact page and complete the brief form. Be sure to include the type of edit you're looking for, your word count, deadline, expectations for an editor, and any questions you may have.

I'm excited to hear from you and help bring your story to its full potential!
